The Perfect Photo Guide

TIP 1 - GOOD LIGHTING

We all love good lighting. Take a photo outside in daylight, or in a well-lit room. Our designers work directly with the photo you upload, so make sure you capture your pet in good light and that you're happy with the colors in your photo.

TIP 2 - ALL ABOUT THE POSITION

The more details, the better. Try to see your pet up close. Seated and standing photos work best... If your pet is lying down, it's harder to create a great work of art. A photo taken directly for your pet works best... Try to avoid taking pictures above your head. Don't forget not to let their ears out of the frame, especially if they are particularly pointed or limp! Our artists can only work with what is in the picture.

TIP 3 - TWO IS A CROWD

You've heard the saying "three is a crowd," right? Well, here at Dog Planet, two are also a crowd! Take a picture of your pet without any other animals in the photo. One pet per photo. If you have a few inseparable pets that you want on one product, then we can still do that, don't worry!

Please note: all photos will undergo a screening as soon as your order is placed. If there is a problem with the photo and we think your illustration will not be as detailed as we both would like, we will send you an email. But if we don't hear anything, we should continue with the photo you originally provided.
